The Hadiths are saying and /or actions in the prophet Muhammad (pbuh) which were witness through the companions with the prophet Muhammad(pbuh) then written down for record. Since muslims think that the prophets of Allah(swt) are pure and innocent, for Allah(swt) would only pick the right among mankind have been tested of their lives to steer people that choose to go astray and provide them for the right path.
Say (O Muslims), "We have confidence in Allah knowning that that has been sent right down to us understanding that that has been sent as a result of Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), and to Al-Asbat [the offspring with the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], which which has been provided to Musa (Moses) and '??sa (Jesus), which that is given on the prophets using their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, also to Him we've submitted (in Islam)."
Today considering that the last Prophet Muhammad is there won't be any more prophets (prophet Isa (Jesus)(AS) will be restored no new book but to uphold the Quran ) so exactly the Quran and Hadiths can give you true guidance.
