Since muslims believe that the prophets of Allah(swt) are pure and innocent, for Allah(swt) would only choose the best among mankind who have been tested within their lives to steer individuals who choose to go astray and convey them for the right path.
Say (O Muslims), "We believe in Allah understanding that that is sent into us knowning that which was sent into Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), and to Al-Asbat [the offspring of the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], understanding that that has been directed at Musa (Moses) and '??sa (Jesus), which which has been given to the prophets from other Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and Him we have submitted (in Islam)."
Today because the last Prophet Muhammad had been there will be no more prophets (prophet Isa (Jesus)(AS) will come back no new book but to uphold the Quran ) so merely the Quran and Hadiths will give you true guidance.
