Since muslims believe that the prophets of Allah(swt) are pure and innocent, for Allah(swt) would only choose the best among mankind who were tested in their lives to lead those who went astray and bring them to the right path.
Say (O Muslims), "We have confidence in Allah knowning that that has been sent down to us and that that has been sent into Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), and to Al-Asbat [the offspring in the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], knowning that that is presented to Musa (Moses) and '??sa (Jesus), knowning that which was given on the prophets using their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and also to Him we've got submitted (in Islam)."
Today since the last Prophet Muhammad was already there won't be any more prophets (prophet Isa (Jesus)(AS) is no new book but to uphold the Quran ) so merely the Quran and Hadiths can give you true guidance.
