Since muslims believe that the prophets of Allah(swt) are pure and innocent, for Allah(swt) would only select the right among mankind have been tested within their lives to steer people who choose to go astray and bring them to the right path.
Say (O Muslims), "We trust Allah which which has been sent right down to us knowning that that has been sent right down to Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), and to Al-Asbat [the offspring in the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], and that which was directed at Musa (Moses) and '??sa (Jesus), knowning that which has been given for the prophets off their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and Him we've submitted (in Islam)."
Today since the last Prophet Muhammad had been gone will be the more prophets (prophet Isa (Jesus)(AS) will return no new book but to uphold the Quran ) so merely the Quran and Hadiths can provide you true guidance.
