Since muslims feel that the prophets of Allah(swt) are pure and innocent, for Allah(swt) would only pick the right among mankind who have been tested inside their lives to lead people that had gone astray and convey them to the right path.
Say (O Muslims), "We have confidence in Allah and that which has been sent down to us which that has been sent down to Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), also to Al-Asbat [the offspring of the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], knowning that which was directed at Musa (Moses) and '??sa (Jesus), and that which has been given to the prophets off their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, also to Him we've submitted (in Islam)."
Today since last Prophet Muhammad had been gone will be the more prophets (prophet Isa (Jesus)(AS) will return no new book but to uphold the Quran ) so only the Quran and Hadiths may give you true guidance.
